It was a memorable day at Portager Field as the Portagers kicked things off with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new stadium, before facing the Holton Red Devils.
At halftime, the school honored the 1976 football team for its undefeated season and Northwest Conference Championship.
The Portagers capped off the special day with a convincing 52–8 victory over Holton, celebrating Portager tradition, history, and success on the field.
The Girls Cross Country team earned Runner Up honors at the Portage Invitational, taking 2nd place in Division 4 against the top five ranked teams in the state! Congratulations on an outstanding performance and an exciting day of racing!

Varsity Volleyball secures a big straight set victory over Buckley!
Onekama JV and Varsity volleyball teams hosted Leland for Parents Night, and both teams came away with wins!
The middle school and high school cross country teams had a strong morning of racing at two invitationals.
The high school girls placed second at the Shepherd BlueJay Invitational, with four runners earning medals: Callie Sinke won the race, followed by Zakia Wagoner (8th), Addy Zeller (11th), and Lexi Logan (32nd). Johnny Sinke earned a medal for the boys with a 40th place finish, while all Portager boys recorded personal bests.
At the Fruitport Invitational, the middle school boys won the team title, led by Logan Berryhill second place finish, just one hundredth of a second from first. Kallie Keillor won the middle school girls race.
It was an outstanding day for Portager cross country, with team victories, individual champions, and numerous personal bests.
The varsity football team opened its new stadium in impressive fashion, defeating Suttons Bay 52–6.
Varsity volleyball took on Brethren tonight and came out on top with a three set sweep!

The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed today at the Ottawa Hills Invitational, with the Girls team turning in an impressive performance! The girls finished second overall in the Small School division!
