Students please make sure that you sign out in the student services office before you leave school. Parental permission is needed before a student leaves schools. Dual Enrolled students must sign out in the office when they leave school.

Onekama “Basketball” Scavenger Hunt Rules 2023
1. The first team to find the basketball will earn points.
The points will be awarded based on the following:
Day 1: 5pts
Day 2-5: For each additional day students will receive 5 additional points
*After day 2: if students are unable to find the object, they will get a clue
(located in the announcements)
2. Searching for the basketball can be done before and after school and during passing time. Do not be late for class and do not sign out from class to find the basketball. No stealing of the basketball from other students. This will void the points awarded for finding the basketball.
3. The basketball could be found in:
a. classrooms
b. gyms
c. cafeteria
d. media center
e. hallways
f. Offices
4. Once found, the basketball needs to be returned to Mr. Pratt or Mrs. Torrey.
Students please slow down when driving on our school campus.

Seniors, the Clarence and Alvina Mallison Scholarship opportunity is available for you to consider. In order to be considered, the senior must be planning to enroll at an accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning to pursue a bachelor's degree in the field of education. The applicant must also have a 2.9 GPA and be planning to enroll as a full-time student in the Fall.

Seniors, PCA has an Engineering Scholarship opportunity available for students to apply for that will award $150,000 to one student.
Quick list of qualifications:
- graduating high school senior already accepted into a 4-year university w/ a declared major in either Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Paper Science, or Mechanical Engineering
- attending Manistee or Mason county schools (but are open to any graduating senior attending CTE & ACM Tech)
- has at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 system
- successful completion of the application and submission by April 1, 2023

Saturday, February 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the cafeteria.

The class of 2025 is doing a Krispy Kreme fundraiser:
Donuts are available by the dozen. Orders are due by 2/8, donuts should be delivered 2/13.
One dozen classic glazed - $14, One dozen Chocolate Iced, Kreme filled, Raspberry Filled, or Lemon Filled - $16

There will be a Daddy / Daughter Dance on February 11th , 2023. The dance will take place from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. The Dance will be held in the Onekama School Cafeteria.
Moss’ Road Rules will be holding Drivers Ed classes at Bear Lake High School starting April 10th from 6am-8am. For more information & QR code to register please see bulletin board by Mr. Pratt's office.
