As the first quarter winds down, we are spotlighting freshman Landon Kee to see how the beginning of the school year has been going for him so far! Pictured above is Landon holding up his friend, Grady Desarmeaux.
Who is your favorite teacher, and why?
I've got to say Mrs. Fischer, she always replies to my emails quickly and makes sure I understand what I'm doing.
What's your favorite thing to do after school?
Probably nap. I do it after school every day.
What is one thing you wish to achieve before graduating
Successfully getting my license and fixing my car.
What's it like having a job while also doing school?
It honestly feels like a part of my life now. I work weekends while I have school on weekdays, so it fits in perfectly.
What's your favorite thing to draw, and why?
If you know me at all, I love drawing people…in interesting ways.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would love to go to West Virginia because it's like Michigan but less snow and it's a little warmer.
What is one piece of advice you’d give someone just starting middle school?
Don't bring too much stuff to class or you will end up losing it.
How do you like high school so far, is it different than you thought it would be, If so how?
I am enjoying high school, it's not too different from how I thought it would be except that I have no extracurricular and some classes have people from other classes in it.
What is your favorite memory at school?
Probably the time we had a Halloween party in 3rd grade and we played games.
How do you think others would describe you?
Annoying, funny, a little bit of both.
What kinds of things do you do on the weekends?
I work, sleep, and work around the house to try to help my family.
Thank you, Landon Kee, for participating in our interview; we hope you have a great year!
