White Pine Village - Writings - 5th Grade

On October 7th Mrs. Bennett took the class to White Pine Village with 5th and 4th graders. My favorite building is the first Mason County Courthouse. I like the house because it is cool. After that I got a stone arrowhead necklace. Then I had popcorn. I liked it. Then we went to watch the man make sugarcane and the sugarcane was good. Then we went to the gift shop and when we were leaving I got a slingshot. I had a good time.

On October 7th my class went on a field trip to White Pine Village with fourth and fifth graders. My favorite building was the Doctor's Office. I liked it because there was a xray that showed what a person swallowed. They swallowed a penny and a toothbrush. I got a necklace that was made of crystal from a stand where they sell necklaces. My other favorite building was the time museum. I liked to see all the clocks. The oldest clock was a clock from the 1770’s. I got to get popcorn at the town hall. They also have ice cream that they sell at the Town Hall White Pine Village is about one hour away from the school. We all rode the bus to White Pine Village. I had a fun time on the bus when we got there we went to the school first. The school was from 1895. When we went to the gift shop I bought a bowl to put things in. That was all I got from the gift shop. We went to the bus and left White Pine Village. I had lots of fun at White Pine Village and I wish we could go again.

Out of all of them and I got a worhead and I got to walk a lot. So I became a little faster at White Pine Village as I walked to all of the buildings. On October 7th my class went on a field trip to White Pine Village. It was about an hour away from school. My favorite building was the church, because I love to read the bible. The piano, the decorations, and the cross looked really neat. Sometimes it makes me feel bad about how Jesus died. I loved the ice cream part. They had flavors like butter covered, chocolate, vanilla, and more flavors! One of the other parts I liked was the train. They would let you look around a real train! I had a HUGE blast!

On October 7th my class went on a field trip to White Pine Village and it was very fun. My favorite building is the Marchido School because I like the old seat. Also, the old hat so when you're bad you have to hit yourself with the roller on the hand. My other favorite building is the White Pine Chapel because I like to see all the old things in the chapel. By the chapel there was a girl named Martha that died within the 4th month she was born. In the chapel people still have weddings. It was very cool there with all the old things. It was also cool how most of the people showed how the stuff works and how it was used. I am very happy that Mrs. Bennett brought the class to White Pine Village.

On October 7th my class went on a field trip to White Pine Village. My favorite building there was the doctor's office because it was like a house combined with the doctors office. I got ice cream when I was there. I think the flavor I got was vanilla pecan. My mom was one of the chaperones. Lily and Kaila and Payton were in my group. Payton’s grandma was like a helper in a group. We took lots of pictures and they were very funny. We got to do an experiment and it was with making syrup kind of. There was a train there but it didn't move. Then we got a lot of pictures. White Pine Village was one of my favorite field trips ever. I had so much fun!

White Pine Village was fun. There were a lot of old houses. We made syrup. It was delicious. There was a place where you could make books and ornaments. They were making candles out of bee’s wax. There was an old church and an old school too. I liked the gift shop. I bought a train whistle, suckers, candles, two slingshots, balls, and collector cars.
