Here is the first batch of photos of the greenhouse since we have fixed it up.  It is still a work in progress, but we are enjoying using it as a supplementary activity to middle school and high school science classes.  We planted peas as part of our genetics unit in 9th grade Biology.  Mr. Neph's 6th graders helped transplant salad greens that students will get to harvest and eat in a few weeks.  Some of these students will be getting experience along the way by tending and watering the plants as needed.  It is really handy that the greenhouse is so accessible right outside the door of the building.  We are planning activities for both spring and fall quarters and look forward to sharing this facility with other classes.
