He was very happy when he first saw the eggs. Mitchell said the eggs were tan, white, and had freckles. The first thing the class had to do was to put Xs and Os on the eggs.Something the class had to was to turn the eggs on their other side two times a day. Mitchell said the incubator was white, square, and makes the eggs hatch. He said  the chicks ate the white stuff to grow.

Snap! Crackle! Pop! Finally, the eggs hatched. It took 21 days before the eggs hatched. Mitchell was excited when the eggs hatched. Magical Chicks

By Kirstin

This year we interviewed Mr.K’s kindergarten class about chick eggs. Marie is a kindergartener in the class. Matthew’s mom is who gave the class the eggs. The eggs were black and tan Marie said. She hold them first then put them in the tank. She said you put X’s and O’s so each side gets hot. They had to flip them over twice each day. You put the eggs in it and it warms them up that’s what an incubator is Marie said. She said that they needed air to grow in the egg.

Crack! Chirp! Chirp! The eggs have finally hatched after 21 days. When the eggs hatched Marie said she felt happy. Marie knows that the coins are in the food and water so they can find it. She said that the chicks eat chick food. Marie liked feeding them the most of hatching them in her classroom. Interviewing was so fun and the chicks were so cute and small. Hopefully the next 5th grade gets to interview them too next year.
