Sci. 4: Light Bulb Activity

My class did a light bulb activity. My partner was Wabba. We went to the front of the room and grabbed two wires one light bulb and one battery. So Mrs. Brown set us free and we put the two wires on the top and bottom of the battery and the bottom of the light bulb. We ended up getting the light bulb to make a spark. It was a lot of fun. ~Rebecca

We made a light turn on. We used a battery, bulb, and wire. It was really fun to make a light. It was really hard to make the light. It was successful. ~Jacob

We made a working circuit. We put wires on batteries and on a bulb. It took a couple times and then it worked. We put the wires on the batteries
and the light bulb it worked. Energy travels through the wires to the light bulb and lights up the light bulb. ~Caden

We did an activity in class. The activity was where we tried to light a bulb. We used a light bulb, 2 wires black and white and a battery. The energy from the battery powers the light bulb the energy transfers through the wires. The first time we tried it. It did not work. The next time it did work. ~Heather and Max

We lit a bulb by using two wires and a battery. We had to put one wire on a metal piece and another wire on another metal piece. Both of the wires had to be touching the plus side of the battery. The first time we didn't have the right idea but then the second time it worked. It was a blast. I don't think we could make any improvements. ~Jarred and Autumn

A few days ago my class and I did an experiment. We used 2 wires, a light bulb, and a battery. We tried to make it light up. Some of us did and the rest didn't. First we put the wires on the battery ends. We then put it on the bottom of the light bulb. It lit up. It was fun. I hope I can do it again another time. By: Alex and Esther

My class did an activity called light a bulb. We got partnered. My partner was Rebecca. We grabbed a battery, two wires and a light bulb. Our first idea was putting the wires on the battery and holding the light bulb connecting to the battery. The energy transferred the to the light bulb. The light bulb only lit a second. Next we tried to put one wire on one side of the battery and another on the other side. We put both of the wires on the bottom of the light bulb. The light bulb did not light. But it did get warmer and burned Rebecca. Our next idea was putting the wires on the metal part of the light bulb and putting both of the wires on the battery where the bump side was it did not lite either. We could not find another idea to try to light the bulb we even tried different batteries and wires. We could not light the bulb. This was a fun activity to try to light the light bulb. ~Waaba

A couple days ago our class did a project called light a bulb.  We did it with a light bulb, two wires and some batteries.  First we did both wires on each side of the battery.  It did not work at all.  Then we put the wires one on the top of the battery and the other on the bottom of the battery.  And it worked very very good.  It was really really bright.  I had a lot of fun.   ~Hunter and Janet

My class did an experiment. It is called light a bulb. The first time we tried it did not work. we move one wire to the other side of the battery. The second time it work! We think the energy from the bulb transfers from the battery through the wires and to the light bulb, lighting the bulb. ~Jayla and Veronica

We did an experiment it was called light a bulb. Our first one did not work our Second one did work. The problem was the light bulb. We didn’t put the wire at the right place. We made it work. ~Ethan

We did a activity to make light in a light bulb. We used a battery, wires and a light bulb. Then we tried it the light turned on. It was awesome. Then we answered questions. ~Salvador

A couple days ago we did a light bulb experiment. We had one light bulb, two wires and one battery. Our first experiment with the battery, and the wires touching both of the sides and the light bulb was at the bottom. We did light energy it lit up with the flow of energy. ~Thomas
