V Track @ Saugatuck HS 10:00 a.m. (Bus leaves @ 6:00 a.m.)

Congratulations to Trever Fink who qualified yesterday to move on to golf regionals to be held at the Grand Traverse Wolverine golf course next Wednesday.

Attention all 6th through 11th graders interested in playing football next fall. There will be a brief but important sign up meeting in Coach Hunter's room this Thursday.  6th , 7th, and 8th graders will meet at 11:50 with the 9th through 11th graders to follow at 12:10. If you are unable to make this meeting please see Coach Hunter to get the information given out at the meeting. Please plan on attending even if you signed up for the 7 on 7 earlier.

There will be a student council meeting on Friday, May 27th at 11:30 in Mrs. Torrey's room. We will be discussing homecoming for next year. Make sure to come with some ideas for the theme! This is a mandatory meeting and all members are expected to attend.

Onekama Building Supply is looking for a high school student to work this summer.  Contact Jim Armstrong at 889-3456 if interested.

Little Eden Camp is looking for several Summer Housekeeping Staff Members (age 16 and older) to clean cabins on Saturdays from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Dates are June 25th - August 20th.  Call 231-889-4294 for an application or email  

There is volleyball sign up sheet in the Student Services Office for Middle School and JV and Varsity teams.

Cross Country Sign-up for 2016-2017 for grades 6th - 12th is in the Student Services Office.

Varsity Cheerleading sign-up for 2016-17 is in the Student Services office. Sign-up by Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

The 2016 Girls Basketball Camp will be held June 20th, 21st & 22nd.  It is open to all girls entering 1st grade through 8th for 2016-17.  Flyers will be send home with elementary students and available outside the student services for 6th- 8th. Cost is $25.00 per camper.

The 2016 Boys Basketball Camp will be held June 13th, 14th & 15th.  It is open to all boys entering 1st grade through 8th for 2016-17.  Flyers will be send home with elementary students and available outside the student services for 6th- 8th. Cost is $25.00 per camper.

Onekama Consolidated Schools has teamed with Central Michigan University to host a middle school and high school summer volleyball camp at Onekama Schools.  Save the dates:  July 21, 22 & 23. The registration form is on our web site under High School Sports and is on CMU’s web site.

Volunteer Opportunities! I am the local coordinator with CETUSA, and I am looking for OHS families to host international exchange students for the 2016/17 school year.

Our students speak English and come with full health insurance and their own spending money. Host families are asked to provide three meals per day, some transportation and a family atmosphere.  Students are from all can choose! Italy, Venezuela, Switzerland, Thailand and many more!!  They come for one semester (4 1/2 mo) or the school year (9 1/2 mo).  Now is the time to choose your student for this fall!!  Please contact Cathy French at or message me on Facebook!
