Spring Band Concert is Thursday at 6:30pm in the Cafetorium for grades 5th - 11th. They will be playing selections from Phantom of the Opera and much more.


Premier Driving Academy will be offering Segment I Driver’s Education at Bear Lake High School beginning on May 16th 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Flyers are available in the Student Services Office.


Onekama Pop Warner Football Registration will be held Tuesday, May 17th from 5-7pm in Coach Hunters Room 348.  Open to boys and girls age 8 by August 1, 2016 through age 12. Cost is $60.00 per child before June 1st with a maximum of $120.00 per family.  After June 1st cost is $70.00. Bring a copy of birth certificates and sports physical.  A sports physical is required by first practice in August. The 2016 Girls Basketball Camp will be held June 20th, 21st & 22nd.  It is open to all girls entering 1st grade

through 8th for 2016-17.  Flyers will be send home with elementary students and available outside the student services for 6th- 8th. Cost is $25.00 per camper.


Onekama Consolidated Schools has teamed with Central Michigan University to host a middle school and high school summer volleyball camp at Onekama Schools.  Save the dates:  July 21, 22 & 23. The registration form is on our web site under High School Sports and is on CMU’s web site.


Volunteer Opportunities! I am the local coordinator with CETUSA, and I am looking for OHS families to host international exchange students for the 2016/17 school year.

Our students speak English and come with full health insurance and their own spending money. Host families are asked to provide three meals per day, some transportation and a family atmosphere.

Students are from all over...you can choose! Italy, Venezuela, Switzerland, Thailand and many more!!  They come for one semester (4 1/2 mo) or the school year (9 1/2 mo).  Now is the time to choose your student for this fall!!  Please contact Cathy French at garmentworks@hotmail.com or message me on Facebook!
