Friday is the end of the 3rd Marking Period.  It is the last day of classes before Spring Break!


Spring Break begins March 30th. Classes will resume Tuesday, April 7th..


Congratulations to students who participated in the WSCC Regional Art Competition.  Onekama did well again this year earning the following awards:

Quinn LaMont 1st place in sculpture

Miah Johnson 1st place in mixed media

Arina H. 1st place in computer manipulation

Pan T. 2nd place in computer manipulation

The exhibit is available for viewing until March 27th in the Manierre Dawson Gallery at WSCC.


MS Track sign up is in the student services office.


Varsity Cheer Squad sign up for next year is in the Student Services Office.


Glik’s in Frankfort is accepting applications for their summer season. Open interviews will be held April 4th from 10am - 5pm at the Frankfort Store. Applications are available on line @ gliks.com. For more information or to set up an interview call Gary @ 231-723-1105.


A Co-Ed Onekama Alumni & Community Basketball Game is being organized  for April 11th at 4:00pm in the Onekama HS Gym.  All alumni and community members are welcome to play!  Fee is $10.00 per person.  Forms are in the Student Services office and must be returned by Tuesday, April 7th.


TWO-TIME OLYMPIC WOMEN’S HOCKEY SILVER MEDALIST, Gigi Marvin, is coming to Ludington’s Peterson Auditorium on Saturday, April 11th, 6:30- 8pm.  

This event is free to anyone who wants to hear from a Champion what it takes to be a successful part of the team.  Look for posters for more info or check with the Student Services Office.

Meet:  Corinne, Age 16, Female, France,

Hello! My name is Corinne, and I am from France. I am very excited to be spending my 12th grade year in America. I am an A grade average student, and I can speak French, English, Spanish and Russian. I am Catholic and willing to attend my host family’s church on holidays. I love sports. I have been practicing rhythmic gymnastics in competition for 7 years and also dance class. On my free time I like to play violin and practice the synthesizer. I enjoy many friends.  My career goal is to be an air traffic controller. I am looking forward to visiting the US.
